Rosmarinus officinalis - Rosemary

Rosemary is an evergreen herb or shrub that does well here. The flowers are most commonly found in blue and come from fall to spring. Different varieties show deeper or lighter shades of blue. The foliage is a gray/green color with needle-like foliage. Plant in sun in well drained soil. It plays well off darker green plants.

Rosemary does great in pots, used as a low growing shrub or pruned into a hedge or topiary.

The pruned foliage is a great herb to compliment fish, lamb, or chicken. It is commonly used in Mediterranean dishes.
