My dad and I were driving down a nearby dirt road near our home on Saturday and our discussions ceased when our eyes caught the sight of this native azalea. It would be difficult to ignore such natural beauty and this plant surely deserved our attention. I usually see this plant in a lighter pink - almost white color but it can be pure white, light pink or pink. Just a few feet away were others in lighter shades.
