Canna lily is an easy perennial for this area. It is often planted for it's large tropical foliage and bright flowers. It grows well in boggy areas and is often planted around water gardens or at the edge of streams. This canna was given to me by Mary Fields at church many years ago and I found a spot near my parents home for it.
This plant comes in green or bronze leaf varieties with flowers in red, orange, yellow, & pink.
