Stachyurus praecox is a shrub that I do not really know much about. I found this one in Atlanta and fell in love with the inflorescence of buds. This shrub grows 4-6 feet tall with an upright habit. It needs a little shade here in Atlanta and should be grown in moist, well drained soil.
