Watermelon is a vine that produces those sweet melons we all enjoy in the summer. They are rich Vitamin A & C.
Watermelons are native to South Africa and were found along the nile valley. At 92% water the melon was a major source of water for the indigenous people of Africa. Photographed is an icebox watermelon grown by my parents.
