I spent some time in Kenya this month and at the Children's home were huge fields of cabbage. I believe the cabbage had been planted in July and they had planted many varieties. The seasons are mild enough that we were able to start fresh gardens of cabbage and spinach. November is the beginning of spring in Kenya.
