Pyracantha is a fast growing shrub that is often pruned into an espalier on walls. This evergreen plant has white flowers in the spring but the real show comes this time of year when it becomes covered in berries. This plant can grow 10-20 feet tall & wide so pruning is usually necessary and plant in full sun for a dense plant. With many cultivars there are different colors of berries available. Native to Italy. Be cautious with the spines/thorns on the stems.
